We are mighty excited about the new Bajaj Dominar 400 that breaks covers in few hours from now. The reasons for that is primarily the way it looks. This time around Bajaj Auto has seeked inspiration from the Italian motorcycle major Ducati. The Diavel’s oddball cruiser meets muscle motorcycle design might not be the best for some but it surely has a unique appeal. While the concept showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo came with USD forks, this production version of the Bajaj Dominar 400 gets conventional telescopic arrangement. However, it does retain the digital instrument clustre and the tell tale lights on the fuel tank. The most important bit of the Bajaj Dominar 400 is the motor and that has been straight away lifted or borrowed from the KTM Duke 390. Yes, that orange motorcycle that most of us want to own. But don’t expect the Bajaj Dominar 400 to carve streets like the lil Austrian motorcycle. And the reason for that is the nature of the Bajaj Dominar 400. It is not a sports machine nor will it take corners with vengeance, instead this one will be super confident on straight sections. The power delivery will not be in the same tune of the KTM. We expect Bajaj Dominar 400 to be priced an impressively lower than Rs 2 lakh, making it an extremely tempting buy compared to the Mahindra Mojo and the Royal Enfield Himalayan. Both of which have not been able to carve its niche in the segment. Get all the other details of the Bajaj Dominar 400. Here are some of the images of the Bajaj Dominar 400 spotted at one of the dealerships in India. We believe Bajaj will launch the Dominar 400 in a phased manner before rolling it out from every dealership spread in the country. Let us know your views on the same in the comments section below.
